The Balmain Athletics Club is registered with Athletics NSW enabling individuals aged 12 and up to compete in all Athletics NSW and Athletics Australia events. Click here to see our Senior Athletics website. 

Competition is generally held on Saturday afternoons in a relaxed atmosphere at tracks including Sydney Olympic Park Athletic Centre (Homebush), ES Marks (Kensington), Campbelltown and Bankstown. A number of clubs run Saturday afternoon "invitational" competitions, including Illawong at The Ridge Athletics Track, Bardon Ridge and UTS Norths at Rotary Field, Chatswood West.

There are also championship events, including Relays in November, NSW Junior & Youth Championships in February, Open Championships in March and Masters Champinoships in March.

Athletes registered with Balmain Little Athletics Club in the U12 to U17 age groups are able to join Athletics NSW as a 'dual' athlete and membership is free.
