State Combined Carnival (Multi Event)

THIS INFORMATION WILL BE UPDATED AS SOON AS THE COMMITTEE HAS RECEIVED AND REVIEWED THE INFORMATION FROM THE NSW ATHLETICS PARTNERSHIP REGARDING CHAMPIONSHIPS & EVENT FOR THE 2024/25 SEASON.

NSW State Combined Carnival, Saturday 1 & Sunday 2 March 2025
 
The Kumon State Combined Carnival is held on the first weekend in March each year, at a regional venue. At this carnival, athletes participate in ALL of the events on offer for their age group and points are allocated for performances recorded in each event, based on the Little Athletics NSW Multi-Event Point score tables/system. The points across all events conducted for each age group are added together to determine final results. Entries are ONLINE only via the LANSW website. There are no refunds following initial close of entry.
 
This season the Carnival will be held at the Griffith Regional Sports Centre, Grifith on Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 March 2025. Entries will open in December 2024. For more information click HERE.
 
Events per age group are as follows: 
  • U7 - 50m, 100m, pack start, long jump, shot put, discus;
  • U8 - 70m, 200m, pack start, long jump, shot put, discus;
  • U9 - 100m, 60m hurdles, 800m, long jump, shot put, discus;
  • U10 - 200m, 60m hurdles, 800m, long jump, shot put, discus;
  • U11 - 100m, 60m hurdles, 800m, long jump, shot put, discus;
  • U12 - 200m, 60m hurdles, 800m, long jump, shot put, discus;
  • U13 - 100m, 80m hurdles, 800m, long jump, shot put, discus;
  • U14 Girls - 200m, 80m hurdles, 800m, long jump, shot put, discus;
  • U14 Boys - 200m, 90m hurdles, 800m, long jump, shot put, discus;
  • U15 Girls - 100m, 90m hurdles, 800m, long jump, shot put, discus;
  • U15 Boys - 100m, 100m hurdles, 800m, long jump, shot put, discus;
  • U17 Girls - 200m, 100m hurdles, 800m, long jump, shot put, high jump, javelin;
  • U17 Boys - 200m, 110m hurdles, 800m, long jump, shot put, high jump, javelin.
 
A team of 3 girls and 3 boys from the U15 age group competing at the State Combined Carnival are selected from their performances to be part of the LANSW State Team and compete at the Australia Little Athletics Championships (ALAC).
